If you invest the difference, instead of spending it
Same monthly outflow as today — the EMI gap goes into an investment instead of your pocket. Actual gain = the interest you saved by switching + what that investment grows into over the same period. Ring size = actual gain, relative to the biggest of the three.
"Moderate" uses the Neutral (Gold) benchmark regardless of your pick above; "As per your risk" uses whichever profile is selected. See the Return Benchmarks tab for how these numbers were set.

Principal vs. growth
If you'd simply spent the delta instead, you'd be exactly ₹0 richer for it. Compounding is the entire point of this tab.

What each asset class has actually returned
The five risk profiles used on the Balance Transfer and Delta Investment tabs aren't arbitrary — each is pinned to that asset class's own 15-year track record, shown in full below.

Reading this table
Every rupee it costs to switch
The quoted rate is never the whole story. Here's what's charged in plain sight, and what tends to slip past.

Rule of thumb
A balance transfer is worth doing only when the interest you'll save clears every one-time cost above within a period you're comfortable waiting out — see the break-even figure on the Balance Transfer tab. Below ~0.5–0.75% rate improvement, fees usually eat most of the gain unless the outstanding principal and remaining tenure are both large.
